Notice! The blog (but not the website as such) has moved slightly, and the new spot to point your feedreaders and blurry eyes to are http://shelter.nu/blog/, and I've chucked my RSS/Atom feed into FeedBurner for good measure as well. This also means no more comments here, and especially not you spammers, you filthy floatsam of the internet! Don't worry, as soon as I get some spare time I'll merge the two blogs together, just need to work out some Blog API with Blogger, or, worse, install WordPress and do it myself. We'll see what I come up with. I was heading for self destruction ...
Hi folks. I'm sitting in bed at home with a huge wound in my side which now needs to heal; My birthday last friday (see last post) was absolutely wonderful ... until about 2am in the morning when I was taken to the emergency room at the hospital with a pesky appendix. Yes, my body had set itself for self-destruction, and if come nothing, it might have burst and have made my life non-interesting permanently by a few days. But it was removed in an operation on saturday at 7pm, and now, after a short hospital delay, I'm home for recovery for about 4 weeks. And hence, the blogging here will be low. Very low. I see you all soon. Permalink (Thu, 9 Jun 2005 13:00:00 GMT)| Comments (4) | GeneralBe prepared for the unexpectable (sign of the times)...
I hope you get well as soon as posible (and take profit of your situation, e.g. getting more care from your family).
Regards.
Hi Alex,
I am glad that your appendix did not cause more serious consequences. Hope you get the rest that you need at home, and that you recover completely.
All the best!
Liam.
My god - glad you're ok Alex. Take it easy.
So glad to hear you're recovering. Take the time to rest that over-active brain as well or you'll end up writing xSiteable version 26.2 in your head.
Every success,
David
